The St. Anthony School Parent Teacher
Organization exists to support the mission of the school through
numerous events and fundraisers throughout the school year. We encourage
you to come find the difference at St. Anthony School! PTO-Sponsored Events and Fundraisers The PTO helps support the school financially with a variety of fundraisers scheduled throughout the year. These events also bring more fun to the school year. Watch the school calendar and Wednesday Notes for more information about all the events PTO sponsors throughout the school year. Here is a partial list of our events and fundraisers for the 2009-2010 school year: August 8 - Back to School Bash August 29 - Pancake Breakfast September 26 - Italian Night October 23 - Hallowfest December 6 - Pancake Breakfast December 11 - Secret Santa January 16 - Comedy Night February 12 - Mardi Gras Winterfest April 16 - Walk-a-thon Merchandise Certificates (always available) Scrips Program (periodically) Market Day (monthly) SAS Spirit Wear Merchandise Sales (at PTO and school events)
Officers for 2009-2010 Your PTO officers encourage you to contact them if you have any questions or want to volunteer with one of the many events and fundraisers. Jim Elsner, Chair Amy Macaluso, Co-Chair Angela Krueger, Secretary Dottie Neal, Event Coordinator and Spirit Wear Jean Schrecker, Treasurer PTO Meetings PTO meetings are a great way to stay in touch with and to support your child's school. The PTO meets four times per school year and all parents and teachers are invited. Meetings are at 7:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Your input is vital to the success of the organization, and ultimately to the success of the school itself. Here is the schedule for 2009-2010 (hyperlinks to meeting minutes are available following the meetings): September 23, 2009 November 11, 2009 February 10, 2010 May 12, 2010 You Make a Difference Award If you know anyone who is helping make a difference at St. Anthony School, please nominate them for this award. Send your nomination letter to school marked "Attention: PTO." The winners will be announced at the PTO meetings.
