live in Louisville with my husband and two children.

I attended Male High School and then received my degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Louisville. I began my work counseling abused women, helping them to start a new life away from their abuser. I then worked with the homeless, helping them find adequate housing and attending to their basic needs. Then I began my work in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, helping drug users to get control of their addiction and to rebuild their lives.

 I finally found what I believe to be my true calling when I began working with children in the Catholic school system, which I’ve been doing since 1991. I also found another calling when I began putting together school plays. Each year the plays became more and more involved and before I knew it I was involved in huge productions and loving every minute. I have found though the years that these two passions of mine seem to work very well together. Through counseling I am able to help children with their problem and through the theater I help build their self-confidence and pride.

I have been at St. Anthony’s since 2003 and I have always felt at home. This is a wonderful school and I feel blessed to have found such a great place to continue doing what I love.
