I attended North Vernon Schools from Kindergarten though High School. I then went to Franklin College where I received my bachelor's degree in 2008.
My Philosophy of Education
Lifelong learning is essential for being a well-rounded person. Educators need to help students know how to foster learning throughout their whole lives. Students need to see that learning occurs in a wide variety of contexts. Learning takes place not only in schools, but also in the community, the work place, and with family and friends. Becoming a lifelong learner is not an educational process; it is more like a goal. Education is the path to reaching that goal.
