About Me

I am a graduate of St. Anthony School and Presentation Academy. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Middle School Math Endorsement from Indiana University Southeast. I began my teaching experience in 1992 at St. Anthony’s preschool and second grade. I then taught the first optional all-day kindergarten, but then moved to middle school for 10 years. Now I am enjoying teaching third grade. My husband Mike and I have three grown sons, all of whom attended St. Anthony School. We have been life-long members of the parish.

 

Educational Statement

My hope is that my students become independent learners. Third grade is a time to start thinking for yourself and looking for answers by using great problem solving techniques.
